Gymnastics for children from 1.5 to 3 years old

PROGRAM FEATURES
1
Children are engaged with their parents. First there is an acquaintance with adults and children, a
little warm-up in a playful way. The aim is to set the kids up for work, to focus their attention on the
coach. Parents actively participate, help the kids to complete tasks, do together with them.
2
Then there is an obstacle course where young athletes learn to climb up, down stairs and slides,
climb into tunnels and walk on a wide log. Parents are also close to the child, protecting him/her. The
coach teaches you to do somersaults on a special mat, thanks to which everything turns out easily and
with a smile for children.
3
The obstacle course smoothly flows into strength exercises on benches: children crawl on their
stomachs, ride on their buttocks, walk on all fours, creating movement patterns for future complex
elements and developing a muscular corset. Kids learn to keep their balance on a low log, and then
overcome their fear on a high log. Naturally, parents and a coach help them with all the exercises.
4
Although this is a children's exercise, it is still gymnastics, and we cannot leave aside the apparatus.
At this age, various hangings, grips are practiced, somersaults on rings are performed with the help of
a trainer, lifting with a flip on the crossbar. Stretching takes place together with parents in a playful
way: children do "clock" — bending their legs apart, "butterflies", hiding from a gray wolf in a fold
and performing many other exercises.
5
And now comes the most long — awaited moment - the trampoline. Children do not just jump on it,
getting great pleasure, but they are already learning to do their first acrobatic elements: jump on the
ass and back on their feet, grouping, asterisk. The lesson ends in a huge pool with foam cubes - where
you can safely jump from a trampoline, somersault, fall, or just build a colorful tower out of them.
6
After the lesson, the coach puts seals and stickers to the children, noting what they did during the
training. The children leave the class satisfied and happy and look forward to the next time.
AT THIS AGE, CHILDREN CAN LEARN TO DO:
independent somersaults forward
tumbling backwards with the safety net of the coach
confidently jump on two legs
pull up on the uneven bars with the help of a coach
walking on a log
jumping on a trampoline
and much more
WHETHER SPORTS IS NECESSARY AT THIS AGE
We must understand that we are not engaged in professional sports, which really has a downside in
the form of overtraining, injuries, work for results at any cost. We teach children movement.
Classes allow the child to feel the possibilities of his/her body, teach him/her basic movements in a safe and comfortable environment. At this age, it is very important to pay due attention to the development of the child's motor skills. The more different movements and elements he/she learns at such an early age, the easier it will be for him/her in further physical development.

ANSWERS TO FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
-
How many people can be in a group?
We have groups of up to 10 people. -
Can a parent attend a training session?
There is an open space in the halls, parents observe the entire training process. You can come up at any time, it is important to have socks. -
We are already four and a half years old (six and a half), can we study in a group with older children?
If you haven't visited us yet, then for the first time you need to come to a training session for your age to get acquainted with the format of training and with the coach. If he is the strongest in his group and the coach sees that it will be more productive for him to study in a group with older children, then he will definitely tell his parents about it. -
Do you have all ages engaged at the same time?
In parallel, training for three or four groups can take place in one hall (depends on the hall). Each group has its own coach, they study in their own zone and do not interfere with each other. -
We didn't do anything, is it okay that there will be children in the group who have been doing it for a long time?
It's okay, we have an unprofessional sport and recruitment goes on all year round. The coach gives tasks based on strength and capabilities. For example, if someone comes for the first time, he/she will just hang on the rings, while the one who has been walking for a long time will make coups. -
Is it worth going to the same coach or to different ones?
All our coaches adhere to the same program and are interchangeable. We advise you to try to stick to a certain schedule so that it is easier for the child to adapt to the coach and other children in the group, but there may be two different coaches in your schedule at the same time. -
How many times a week is it worth studying?
It all depends on other sports loads in your schedule. It is optimal to attend twice a week. -
Is the presence of parents necessary during the training of the younger group, we go to other classes, he is quite independent?
Up to 3 years old, children must go to training accompanied by an adult. This is not only necessary for a successful training process, but also an important safety requirement. -
Do you need any help for practicing developmental gymnastics?
No, we have an unprofessional sport and no certificates are needed. However, if you have any contraindications (for example, you are prohibited to roll over), then we ask you to tell the coach about it. -
We came to the junior group for the first time, and we had not done anything before. What to do?
This is completely normal. At the first lesson, he did at least 20% of the exercises, which is already good. To get used to the gym, to the fact that there is a coach who needs to be obeyed, to the fact that it is necessary to perform exercises, it takes time. Adaptation takes everyone different time and largely depends on the interest of the parent and the activity of his participation in the training process.
