Gymnastics for children from 3 to 4 years old

PROGRAM FEATURES
1
At this age, children begin to study without parents. This is a very important moment when it is
necessary to teach a child to study in a group, to perform all the tasks of the coach. Children are very
restless, their attention is distracted, so the coach tries to instill discipline in them, and at the same
time maintain a positive game mood.
2
The learning of basic elements such as tumbling forward, backward, walking on a log and their
further complication continues. Children already perceive mistakes by ear and try to correct them, so
the coach focuses on the correct and technical execution of the elements. So on the acrobatic track,
children begin to jump confidently with two legs, backwards, with turns.
3
There are also more serious elements from gymnastics - handstands, bridges. Naturally, they are
performed in a lightweight version or with a lot of support from a coach, but this allows children to
form a certain motor pattern. Work continues with sport apparatus.
4
At this age, flexibility is very well formed. The coach uses both game stretching methods, as well as
classic splits, inclines. Children know that for their patience they will be waiting for a game in foam
cubes, seals and stickers.
5
At the end of the lesson, everyone goes to the trampoline, where young athletes are already
confidently performing and complicating the learned elements and bundles, such as a jump in a
grouping, an asterisk, a jump in a saddle and others. After that comes 5 minutes of pampering in
cubes, when children can enjoy complete freedom. At the end, the coach puts seals and stickers on
everyone, noting that the lesson turned out especially well.
AT THIS AGE, CHILDREN CAN LEARN TO DO:
tumbling forward on a flat surface without assistance
independent somersaults back
handstands at the gym wall bars
pull themselves up on the uneven bars
walking on a high log
perform basic elements on a trampoline
splits
and much more
WHETHER SPORTS IS NECESSARY AT THIS AGE
The answer is quite unambiguous - sport is definitely necessary. But not professional, where the child
is forced to be bludgeoned into doing everything. Children still do not know how to set themselves
distant goals and go to them, it is important for them here and now. Therefore, our training are held in
a relaxed atmosphere so that children like what they do. And at the same time they slowly get used to
sports discipline, strengthen muscles, form new motor skills. And what is important for parents - they
splash out their exuberant energy.

ANSWERS TO FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
-
How many people can be in a group?
We have groups of up to 10 people. -
Can a parent attend a training session?
There is an open space in the halls, parents observe the entire training process. You can come up at any time, it is important to have socks. -
We are already four and a half years old (six and a half), can we study in a group with older children?
If you haven't visited us yet, then for the first time you need to come to a training session for your age to get acquainted with the format of training and with the coach. If he is the strongest in his group and the coach sees that it will be more productive for him to study in a group with older children, then he will definitely tell his parents about it. -
Do you have all ages engaged at the same time?
In parallel, training for three or four groups can take place in one hall (depends on the hall). Each group has its own coach, they study in their own zone and do not interfere with each other. -
We didn't do anything, is it okay that there will be children in the group who have been doing it for a long time?
It's okay, we have an unprofessional sport and recruitment goes on all year round. The coach gives tasks based on strength and capabilities. For example, if someone comes for the first time, he/she will just hang on the rings, while the one who has been walking for a long time will make coups. -
Is it worth going to the same coach or to different ones?
All our coaches adhere to the same program and are interchangeable. We advise you to try to stick to a certain schedule so that it is easier for the child to adapt to the coach and other children in the group, but there may be two different coaches in your schedule at the same time. -
How many times a week is it worth studying?
It all depends on other sports loads in your schedule. It is optimal to attend twice a week. -
Is the presence of parents necessary during the training of the younger group, we go to other classes, he is quite independent?
Up to 3 years old, children must go to training accompanied by an adult. This is not only necessary for a successful training process, but also an important safety requirement. -
Do you need any help for practicing developmental gymnastics?
No, we have an unprofessional sport and no certificates are needed. However, if you have any contraindications (for example, you are prohibited to roll over), then we ask you to tell the coach about it. -
We came to the junior group for the first time, and we had not done anything before. What to do?
This is completely normal. At the first lesson, he did at least 20% of the exercises, which is already good. To get used to the gym, to the fact that there is a coach who needs to be obeyed, to the fact that it is necessary to perform exercises, it takes time. Adaptation takes everyone different time and largely depends on the interest of the parent and the activity of his participation in the training process.
